Miguel Valladares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 34th minute, Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Cavalcante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 43 minutes into the game, Baltazar Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agro Imortal the free kick. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Baltazar Corrêa hit a great ball. Caetano Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Lira to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Wilson Sá took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Valladares. Miguel Valladares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When Caetano Félix fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agro Imortal's protests and gave Caetano Félix a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Agro Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Félix to maneuver through the defense. Osmar Rosado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Miguel Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
