Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tadeu Paraíba got the match started through his kick off. Dráuzio Tepedino hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Alexandre Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Luiz Cavalcante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Valladares was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Luiz Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Valladares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 17 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Custódio. 20 minutes into the game, Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Miguel Valladares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Cavalcante went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Miguel Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Cavalcante in the 26th minute of the match. Dráuzio Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Félix in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montesclarense E.C.'s zone, Sérgio Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Monteiro came out of the goal and Sérgio Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Agro Imortal's Claudinei de Brito seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Claudinei de Brito the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Agro Imortal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Claudinei de Brito had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Agro Imortal getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hamílton Coelho hit a great ball. If Luiz Fábio Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tadeu Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Agro Imortal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Paraíba couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Augusto Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeu Paraíba took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Monteiro. Luiz Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. With a little luck, Agro Imortal's Miguel Valladares got control of the ball when Dráuzio Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Paraíba came free, but Luiz Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, André Luiz Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Cavalcante in the 87th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Miguel Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Félix. In the 90th minute, Caetano Félix fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Luiz Monteiro. Montesclarense E.C. played a much better game than Agro Imortal and deserved their victory. The Agro Imortal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
