Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oséas Quintal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Oséas Quintal's late challenge caught a Villa Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséas Quintal helped the player get up and apologised. Oséas Quintal hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Athletico Paulistano's Luiz Gustavo Urbano got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tony Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Vergílio in the 15th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Barros came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tony Valadares could save by the left post. Virgílio Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Urbano in the 32nd minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Igor Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Villa Verde FC's Tony Valadares threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Afonso Baiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Igor Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Tony Valadares was a little too slow when Afonso Baiano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Baiano to make the kick off. Marcelo Alagoano hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Luís Fernando Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Valadares having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Villa Verde FC's Willian Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Valadares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Luís Fernando Barros hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Oséas Quintal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. In the 71st match minute, Club Athletico Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Quintal to maneuver through the defense. Tony Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luís Lira during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Athletico Paulistano's Tony Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Barros in the 74th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Travassos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Baiano in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Valadares saved Club Athletico Paulistano from getting behind. 84 minutes into the game, Willian Vergílio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tony Valadares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th match minute, Club Athletico Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes, Villa Verde FC's Marcelo Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tony Valadares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Verde FC reached it. In the 90th minute, Joel Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes of play, Villa Verde FC's Afonso Baiano made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Villa Verde FC had played much better football throughout.
