Calesso FC's Giovani Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Calesso FC from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, Mochila FC's Gilson Sergipano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovani Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's Gilson Sergipano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovani Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hermínio Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Porto having to interfere. The supporters of Calesso FC booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's Tarcisio de Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovani Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Mochila FC booed when Calesso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adhemar Valle's late challenge caught a Mochila FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Adhemar Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Gilson Sergipano made a precise shot to the right of Giovani Moura. Calesso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Tarcisio de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gilson Sergipano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovani Moura was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Marcelo Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilson Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murillo Salles struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dorian Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calesso FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson Sergipano in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovani Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Álvaro Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68th play minutes Gilson Sergipano shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Giovani Moura and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Sergipano in the 74th minute of play forced Calesso FC's goalkeeper Giovani Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilson Sergipano in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovani Moura saved Calesso FC from getting behind. Giovani Moura came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Mochila FC's Tarcisio de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Tarcisio de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tarcisio de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mochila FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
