Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson Sergipano in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juarês de Sousa during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermínio Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilson Sergipano took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmyr Bezerra. Walmyr Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Diego Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mochila FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th match minute, Mochila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Proença to maneuver through the defense. Gernando Nunes took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmyr Bezerra. Walmyr Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Nildo Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nildo Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Calesso FC got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Berger. Diego Proença took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walmyr Bezerra. Calesso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedro Paulo Paraíba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dorian Porto made a huge save. In the 35th match minute, Calesso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Berger to maneuver through the defense. Walmyr Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Sergipano in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Calesso FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nildo Berger hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Hudson Coelho. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Valle was the one to do the kick off. Walmyr Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gilson Sergipano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walmyr Bezerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilson Sergipano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 63rd minute. Gilson Sergipano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walmyr Bezerra having to make a save. After 71 minutes, Pedro Paulo Paraíba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calesso FC and the Mochila FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Pedro Paulo Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murillo Salles hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Diego Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Walmyr Bezerra made a huge save. Erasmo Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Porto having to interfere. Hermínio Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Hudson Coelho. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mochila FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
