Chicão Tepedino started the match with the kick off. Teodoro Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Trigo having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Juventudes Libertárias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Dedê Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Cabral in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Meirelles in the 16th minute of play forced Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Samuel Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Caio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Samuel Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cido Oliveira. With a little luck, Alvinegro Carioca's Samuel Pontes got control of the ball when Renatinho Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Pontes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Meirelles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Juventudes Libertárias's Luís Meirelles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvinegro Carioca's Samuel Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Oliveira in the 55th minute of play. Samuel Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Samuel Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caio Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dedê Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvinegro Carioca's Samuel Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Meirelles in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Diamantino Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Pontes. Alvinegro Carioca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diamantino Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 91st minute, Diamantino Reis made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Pontes. Alvinegro Carioca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Juventudes Libertárias's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
