Willian Pernambucano scored 1-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafinha Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Rafinha Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Azevedo in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio de Queiroz came free, but Genílson Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dedé Camargo hit a great ball. Rafinha Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafinha Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Rafinha Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Pernambucano in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Pombal during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Guadalupe FC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Dedê Britto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafinha Torres. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedê Britto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Dedê Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The wind increased when Willian Pernambucano made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Valdir Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno Brodel's late challenge caught a Buritama Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Brodel helped the player get up and apologised. Breno Brodel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rafinha Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Augusto Fontes in the 61st minute. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. André Luiz Penha hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Hortêncio de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guadalupe FC - CIMZ and the Buritama Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guadalupe FC - CIMZ reached it. Reinaldo Pombal hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match.
