Aloísio Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Valladares was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Nunes FC booed when Júbilo Iwata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nunes FC's zone, Vágner Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Magalhães came out of the goal and Vágner Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunes FC's Aloísio Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Nunes FC from getting a goal against them. When Andrézinho de Lima was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After 91 played minutes Nunes FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho de Lima. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Aloísio Magalhães successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Medeiros in the 95th minute of play forced Nunes FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloísio Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Medeiros in the 97th minute of the match. The Nunes FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Júbilo Iwata were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
