Haroldo Viana hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Bebeto Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Montenegro in the 3rd minute of play. Emílio Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Grêmio RK75's Emílio Guerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antônio Rezende. Antônio Rezende yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Antônio Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Vargas in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Vargas got free with Antônio Rezende in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Vargas in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Emílio Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emílio Guerra scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Rezende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Emílio Guerra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antônio Rezende, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio Guerra to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Emílio Guerra got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 56 played minutes Grêmio RK75 got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Tasso. In the 70th match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Asprilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emílio Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Leandro Vargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Rezende was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A Gryffindor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Viana was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio RK75's players had a chance to rest. In the 92nd match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense.
