SinháCity FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Celso Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Vander, 1-0. In the 20th minute, Valdir Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Antônio Rezende. C.A Gryffindor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Valdir Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex França during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alex França hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Zé Pedro de Moraes put in a rough tackle. Zé Pedro de Moraes hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Antônio Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evandro Braga's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for SinháCity FC. Valdir Mattos scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Rezende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Valdir Mattos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Rezende was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Gryffindor's zone, Fellipe dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Rezende came out of the goal and Fellipe dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Ferreira got free with Antônio Rezende in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SinháCity FC booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Montenegro in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Vander saved SinháCity FC from getting behind. After 59 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Loureiro. The crowd rose to their feet as Evandro Braga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antônio Rezende. That made the score 1-4 in the 61 minute of play. Evandro Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Antônio Rezende made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Horácio Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SinháCity FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Gryffindor the free kick. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when SinháCity FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, SinháCity FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Montenegro came free, but Alex Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Braga got free with Antônio Rezende in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evandro Braga went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, SinháCity FC's Horácio Antunes got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 80 minutes, Valdir Mattos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SinháCity FC and the C.A Gryffindor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdir Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. André Luís da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Ferreira. Antônio Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. SinháCity FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
