Locomotiva grena's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Fernando de Queirós scored to the left of an out of position Ediberto Tavares, making the score, 3-1.

The wind increased when Emílio Guerra made the kick off in the second half. Fernando de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Leandro Vargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ediberto Tavares. Locomotiva grena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 65th minute, Leandro Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Ediberto Tavares. Locomotiva grena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Adelino Nascimento put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bebeto Paranaense. Bebeto Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Fontes in the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Emílio Guerra put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ediberto Tavares. 92 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Vargas came free, but Ediberto Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovani Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Luizinho de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
