C.A Gryffindor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Adelino Nascimento scored to the left of an out of position Antônio Rezende, making the score, 1-0. Antônio Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Nascimento in the 16th minute of the match. Antônio Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Reis went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to C.A Gryffindor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Faustino Asprilla hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Asprilla came free, but Ediberto Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Diniz came free, but Ediberto Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Asprilla to make the kick off. Faustino Asprilla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Ediberto Tavares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucas Magalhães took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antônio Rezende. C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rafa Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Asprilla came free, but Ediberto Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Asprilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Tavares having to interfere. The referee ignored Locomotiva grena's protests and gave Tadeu Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Locomotiva grena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Alvarenga came free, but Antônio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, André Luís da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Nascimento in the 99th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
