In the 37th minute, Cléber Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmo da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dalmo da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Cléber Azevedo could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Dalmo da Fonseca however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Cléber Azevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmo da Fonseca. Dalmo da Fonseca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Cléber Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. Dalmo da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dalmo da Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th match minute, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Lara to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Paraibano in the 82nd minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Cléber Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cléber Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quandus's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
