The crowd rose to their feet as Almir Cavalcante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doriva Saraiva. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. A collision led to ARS FUTEBOL getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Almir Cavalcante hit a great ball. João Pedro Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cléber Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Almeida having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, ARS FUTEBOL's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Azevedo came free, but Zé Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ARS FUTEBOL's Zé Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Azevedo in the 34th minute of play. João Pedro Moura's late challenge caught a ARS FUTEBOL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Pedro Moura helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Moura. In the 38th minute of the match Dráusio Guimarães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doriva Saraiva skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th minute, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's João Pedro Moura seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed João Pedro Moura the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and João Pedro Moura had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. ARS FUTEBOL's Zé Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Azevedo in the 46th minute of play. Zé Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Freitas in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cléber Azevedo to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Benjamim Freitas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Almeida was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Cléber Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Almeida. That made the score 1-4 after 76 minutes of play. Paulo José de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cléber Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Zé Almeida when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Almeida was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wellington Maia. Enéas Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Cléber Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The ARS FUTEBOL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's performance. The match ended with a win for ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ.
