Claudinho Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wesley Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. Wesley Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when Green Squad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Guerra hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Green Squad FC defense, Claudinho Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wesley Ferreira. Wesley Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Vidal in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wesley Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Andrade in the 41st minute of play. Wesley Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dani Portillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Dani Portillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Squad FC's Wesley Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

51 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Wesley Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dani Portillo. Abelardo Mattos made a great header on Poetass FC's corner, it was just that Green Squad FC's Wesley Ferreira managed to reach the ball for a save. Wesley Ferreira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dani Portillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Claudinho Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Wesley Ferreira got control of the ball when Claudinho Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Poetass FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Green Squad FC.
