After having played for 15 minutes, Osvaldinho Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mota 2017's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mota 2017 booed when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Adriano Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Mota 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Mendonça came free, but Washington Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Mendonça went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fabiano Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Washington Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldinho Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Washington Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cássio Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mota 2017's Renan Sousa got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mota 2017's Washington Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mota 2017 from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Mota 2017 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Mota 2017 got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Meira. Adriano Rosa struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Washington Mandrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ. Renan Sousa hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mota 2017's Washington Mandrak got control of the ball when Adriano Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Gláuber Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Costa in the 74th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Mendonça kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Washington Mandrak. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. Osvaldinho Costa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Osvaldinho Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Seco's late challenge caught a Mota 2017's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Seco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jonathan Seco hit a great ball. Durvalino Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
