Sílvio Luís Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Léo de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Branco in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quebra Ossos FC reached it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Giovani Veloso put in a rough tackle. 26 minutes into the game, one of Zebus FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Salles in the 31st minute of play forced Zebus FC's goalkeeper Léo de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitório Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Novaes in the 34th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Zebus FC's Giuseppe Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitório Britto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zebus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebra Ossos FC the free kick. After 40 played minutes, Quebra Ossos FC's Aírton Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Léo de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Léo de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gugu Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Gugu Saldanha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léo de Amaral. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. Zebus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Germano Arce in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quebra Ossos FC's zone, Giuseppe Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Britto came out of the goal and Giuseppe Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Quebra Ossos FC's Gugu Saldanha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Léo de Amaral. That made the score 1-4 after 71 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu Saldanha got free with Léo de Amaral in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 played minutes Zebus FC got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Pimenta. Léo de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Sílvio Luís Matorin sent off a good shot on target. Léo de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Zebus FC's Léo de Amaral got control of the ball when Telmo Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giuseppe Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Zebus FC's Luís Guilherme Novaes got a free kick in the 94th minute. Quebra Ossos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
