In the 5th minute, Betão Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gildo Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aírton Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gildo Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Arantes. Hermínio Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Betão Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldão dos Santos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jean Simões. Chico Barros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Ronaldão dos Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Hermínio Neiva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ronaldão dos Santos. Hermínio Neiva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ronaldão dos Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermínio Neiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 40 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Betão Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 3-2 became the score in the 68th minute when Hermínio Neiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Chico Barros fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRASIL.Sp's protests and gave Chico Barros a yellow card for diving instead. When BRASIL.Sp's Hermínio Neiva in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quebra Ossos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hermínio Neiva scored 4-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldão dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The BRASIL.Sp support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
