Cido Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Otávio Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Gabriel Damião in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Domingues came free, but Cido Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cido Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Loyola in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Valdomiro Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Souza in the 33rd minute of play forced Taquaral Campineiro's goalkeeper Otávio Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otávio Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Geovani de Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taquaral Campineiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's Marcelo Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otávio Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdomiro Domingues made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdomiro Domingues got free with Cido Cavalcante in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd match minute, Facopo FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Valdomiro Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cido Cavalcante having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Freire came free, but Cido Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani de Sena in the 57th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Cido Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pena lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Facopo FBPA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Taquaral Campineiro's Otávio Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Linhares in the 66th minute of play. Fernandão Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Otávio Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Sanches having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Valle got free with Cido Cavalcante in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geovani de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cido Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Taquaral Campineiro booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes, Taquaral Campineiro's Anselmo Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cido Cavalcante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Amadeu Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cido Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani de Sena in the 90th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Taquaral Campineiro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Facopo FBPA.
