When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Dráuzio Saldanha put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Otávio Sanches. Taquaral Campineiro's Otávio Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Taquaral Campineiro from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Pontes lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Otávio Sanches. In the 20th minute, Internazionale-RS's Rodolfo Pontes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Otávio Sanches. Otávio Sanches yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A hard shot 24 in the game by Dráuzio Saldanha from a close distance when the talented Otávio Sanches managed to make a qualified save. Taquaral Campineiro's players were relieved. A well placed Dráuzio Saldanha short distance shot in the 31st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 34thth minute of the game Valdomiro Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Internazionale-RS's Gino Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gino Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Giovanni Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taquaral Campineiro! Otávio Sanches had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Dráuzio Saldanha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Taquaral Campineiro's Edgar Valle got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Alfredinho Macedo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Otávio Sanches. Giovanni Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Macedo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otávio Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Taquaral Campineiro's Edvaldo Machado got a free kick in the 79th minute. Rodolfo Pontes succeeded in the game's 79th minute to get real power on a long shot . Taquaral Campineiro's Otávio Sanches hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 6-0! Otávio Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Macedo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Alfredinho Macedo sped through Taquaral Campineiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Otávio Sanches. Gustavo Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Internazionale-RS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
