After a rather tough play, Real Cruzeiro FC's Fábio Pontes got a free kick in the 14th minute. Thiago Pena was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cido Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Sarmento in the 18th minute of play. Cido Cavalcante didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Real Cruzeiro FC's Luís Guilherme Cabral shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 73rd minute Ronaldo Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cido Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tiago Gabriel Damião could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Ivo Amaral however easily saved by the left post. In the 84th minute Luís Guilherme Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gonçalo Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Cruzeiro FC's protests and gave Gonçalo Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Facopo FBPA's Cido Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Cabral in the 88th minute of play. Cido Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Real Cruzeiro FC's Gonçalo Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cido Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Real Cruzeiro FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
