Cido Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Coutinho in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Facopo FBPA's Felipe Lara got a free kick in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Saldanha came free, but Cido Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facopo FBPA's Cido Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Pontes came free, but Cido Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Dráuzio Saldanha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 47th minute, Dráuzio Saldanha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internazionale-RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dráuzio Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Roberto Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cido Cavalcante. That made the score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match, Samuca Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cido Cavalcante was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cido Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
