Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilson Freire kicked off to start the match. Wilson Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rodolfo Pontes sped through Taquaral Campineiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Otávio Sanches. Thiago Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Sanches having to interfere. Rodolfo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Otávio Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Gilson Falcão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquaral Campineiro and the Internazionale-RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Edgar Valle fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquaral Campineiro's protests and gave Edgar Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Otávio Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Pontes in the 24th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Ferraz. Horácio Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Anselmo Martins, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Otávio Sanches came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Internazionale-RS's Rodolfo Pontes. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Taquaral Campineiro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Internazionale-RS were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Pontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Taquaral Campineiro's zone, Thiago Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Sanches came out of the goal and Thiago Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otávio Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Willian Mazza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Túlio Vale having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Pontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Sanches was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Internazionale-RS's Túlio Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Pirani in the 75th minute of play. Roberto Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The Taquaral Campineiro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Internazionale-RS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
