In the 6th minute, Fernando Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felippe Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alan Baiano hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Kauan Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flávio Dantas succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Ivo Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kauan Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flávio Dantas in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kauan Machado saved Gremio NG from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Dantas in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Luz to make the kick off. Carlos Fernando Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Damião having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Paraíba got free with Kauan Machado in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kauan Machado was a little too slow when Flávio Dantas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-4. The audience was convinced that Flávio Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauan Machado was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Flávio Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warren FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. When the match was over Warren FC - DMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gremio NG throughout the match.
