A well-hit corner resulted in Marcelinho Custódio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Walmyr Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Recife in the 53rd minute of the match. With his leg Álvaro Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Best Top fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Dráuzio de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Predador Brasiliense MZBR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
