In the 16th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. When Dorian Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Olgado™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorian Goiano couldn't finish the play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Zabulón Qährämanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Aloísio Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olgado™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SeleSantos FC the free kick. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Olgado™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. SeleSantos FC's Abelardo de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernani Cerezo's late challenge caught a Olgado™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernani Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Massa having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo de Moraes during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Olgado™'s Charles Vergílio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tales Siqueira. That made the score 3-0 after 45 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo de Moraes made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Abelardo de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Betinho Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. SeleSantos FC's Eurico Prestes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Angelo Barreto in the 78 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zabulón Qährämanov in the 81st minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Tales Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zabulón Qährämanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Olgado™'s goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo de Moraes came free, but Claudinho Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
