Tarcisio Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Remo Munhoz made a huge save. After 17 played minutes FIEL ALGUSTA got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Abreu. After 20 played minutes Tribos got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Sabóia. Remo Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Motta in the 23rd minute of play. If Iuri Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tarcisio Motta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remo Munhoz. That made the score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, FIEL ALGUSTA's goalkeeper Remo Munhoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Capixaba. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarcisio Motta to make the kick off. After 94 played minutes Tribos got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Baiano. Tribos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
