Paulão Quirino started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Barral during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Barral to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Duarte Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pendotiba's attentive Cacá Salles managed to snatch the ball when Valdo Paraíba made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. Roger de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Quirino in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Paulão Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendotiba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Diego Barros made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Dias. Pendotiba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ defense, Zé Carlos Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger de Souza. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger de Souza should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Valdo Paraíba in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pendotiba's Cacá Salles. During the 32nd minute of the match Juan Barral completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Juan Barral a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Juan Barral hit a great ball. Duarte Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ramiro Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Diego Barros suffered a concussion in the 39th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Carlos Gaúcho during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Carlos Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Cacá Salles hit a great ball. Pendotiba's Ramiro Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Furlan in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Pitta made a kick off. Ismael Pitta came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ramiro Dias could save by the left post. Valdo Paraíba made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ismael Pitta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Pitta got free with Ramiro Dias in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Duarte Furlan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramiro Dias. That made the score 1-4 in the 62 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Furlan came free, but Ramiro Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Richard Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pendotiba the free kick. After 70 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Richard Alcântara. After 73 played minutes Pendotiba got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Carneiro. Ramiro Dias was a little too slow when Valdo Paraíba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-5. Valdo Paraíba made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pendotiba's Cacá Salles. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Ramiro Dias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ramiro Dias made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ismael Pitta sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Pitta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ramiro Dias firmly grabbed it by the left post. 93 minutes into the game, Roger Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Ramiro Dias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
