A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Belmiro Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Igor Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Negri having to interfere. Murillo Carneiro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Sá to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Eduardo Sá got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ramiro Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Oliveira in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Oliveira came free, but Ramiro Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Vieira in the 47th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Ramiro Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Vieira was the one to do the kick off. Percival Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ramiro Dias made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafinha Oliveira got free with Ramiro Dias in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goalkeeper Ramiro Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belmiro Breckenfeld. Pendotiba's Ramiro Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Pendotiba from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Rafael Queirós got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ramiro Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Vieira in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Sá during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Sá hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Roceira SC's Rafael Queirós in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Romeu Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Abreu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Igor Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Roceira SC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
