After a defensive mix-up in Roceira SC's zone, Clemente Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Negri came out of the goal and Clemente Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Rafinha Oliveira got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 38th match minute, Roceira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Roger Melo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Romeu Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. 42 minutes into the match, Roger Melo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Roceira SC's Romeu Negri. Wilson Coelho's late challenge caught a Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilson Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Wilson Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Diogo Barros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeu Negri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Vieira to make the kick off. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Diego Barros hit a great ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Percival Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roceira SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Roger Melo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Melo couldn't finish the play. Romeu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Teles in the 65th minute of the match. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diogo Barros took the corner. The corner ended in Diogo Barros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Roceira SC's Romeu Negri did a great save. Percival Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Roger de Souza made a huge save. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Teles struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Romeu Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. 3-0 became the score in the 76th minute when Clemente Teles elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Roger Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Diego Barros came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. Rafinha Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Roger de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ had won after a very even match.
