An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Barral in the 13th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Ramiro Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Igor Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pendotiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ramiro Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Quadros in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Nildo Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jairo Barral took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Dias. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nildo Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Nildo Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafa Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Pendotiba's Ramiro Dias got control of the ball when Jairo Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nildo Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramiro Dias came out and tried to block the shot, but Nildo Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 58th minute. In the 65th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Abreu to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes, Teodoro Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cercadinho and the Pendotiba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eurico de Lara hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cercadinho's Enio Freire suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 89 minutes into the game, Igor Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
