The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Sport Club Mavericks's Téo Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Claudinho Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Mesquita in the 12th minute of the match. Dito Ferraz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredão Mesquita in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Valladares saved BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Davi Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sport Club Mavericks's Rony Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by Romário Cearense. Claudinho Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Rony Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 45 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Mesquita came free, but Claudinho Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Yuri Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The BMB IMOVEIS SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sport Club Mavericks were winning 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Arósio in the 53rd minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Rony Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Meirelles. Fred Vides took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudinho Valladares. BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Reynaldo Vinhas put in a rough tackle. 64 minutes into the game, one of BMB IMOVEIS SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alfredão Mesquita kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 69thth minute. Though ot was a great shot BMB IMOVEIS SC's keeper Claudinho Valladares was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Sport Club Mavericks's Giuseppe Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão Mesquita got free with Claudinho Valladares in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes, Romário Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BMB IMOVEIS SC and the Sport Club Mavericks players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Romário Cearense got a free kick in the 76th minute. Rony Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Téo Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Alfredão Mesquita notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of BMB IMOVEIS SC's Claudinho Valladares. Claudinho Valladares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredão Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Claudinho Valladares made a huge save. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Claudinho Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Guimarães in the 98th minute of play. Rony Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Cearense in the 100th minute of play. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
