In the 37th minute Luiz Eduardo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovânio Toscano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juarês de Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Geovânio Toscano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Eduardo Domingues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juarês de Amaral. That made the score 3-1 in the 44 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Geovânio Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Geovânio Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldão Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Breckenfeld in the 52nd minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Haroldo Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Toscano in the 62nd minute of play. Juarês de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Juarês de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Giovani Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Marquês de Herval fans jumped to their feet. Ronaldão Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Recife having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
