Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorginho Maia took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorginho Maia in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iuri Aparecido saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdir Urbano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mário Quirino. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Valdir Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misericordia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enio Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Aparecido having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Vágner Macedo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Iuri Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Travassos in the 21st minute of the match. Jorginho Maia scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iuri Aparecido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iuri Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Misericordia EC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Vágner Macedo hit a great ball. Misericordia EC's Iuri Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Travassos in the 29th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Alex Gaúcho made a precise shot to the right of Mário Quirino. Estrela Solitária's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Francisco Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir Urbano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Jorginho Maia sped through Misericordia EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iuri Aparecido. Francisco Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Iuri Aparecido made a huge save. Enio Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Iuri Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Urbano in the 69th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Urbano came free, but Mário Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enio Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Iuri Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Misericordia EC's Vágner Macedo got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Vágner Macedo off the ground. Vágner Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Misericordia EC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Berger. Iuri Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Travassos in the 80th minute of play. Bruno Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Valdir Urbano scored 4-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enio Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estrela Solitária players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Misericordia EC.
