Júnior Garcia hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Benê Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through a series of nice moves, S.C.CHUÍ's Luisão Trigo on his own came free in the 11th minute of the match and shot 1-0 behind a disappointed Iuri Aparecido. If Valdir Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iuri Aparecido was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nildo Xavier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Amílton Terra hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.C.CHUÍ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Júnior Garcia was slow to take the kick. During this time Misericordia EC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Júnior Garcia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristiano Prata quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The corner led Misericordia EC's Valdir Urbano to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristiano Prata despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristiano Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Misericordia EC's Iuri Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Misericordia EC from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Iuri Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Misericordia EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Nildo Xavier scored to the left of an out of position Iuri Aparecido, making the score, 3-0. Felipe do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Iuri Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, S.C.CHUÍ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Xavier to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nildo Xavier made a kick off. Felipe do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Aparecido having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe do Nascimento came free, but Iuri Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eriberto Godoi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Urbano in the 58th minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Cristiano Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute of the match, Valdir Urbano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristiano Prata was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Alex Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Vágner Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Xavier in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Aparecido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Cristiano Prata made a huge save. The S.C.CHUÍ fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when S.C.CHUÍ's Nildo Xavier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alex Gaúcho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristiano Prata came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Gaúcho slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 85th minute. In the 92nd minute, Valdir Urbano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristiano Prata. The goal made the score 4-3. After 96 played minutes Misericordia EC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Machado. S.C.CHUÍ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
