Inter de Munique's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Inter de Munique's Cléberson Bastos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Benê Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doni Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafa Paranaense got free with Doni Meirelles in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Inter de Munique booed when ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard de Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doni Meirelles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard de Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Inter de Munique had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
