Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dário da Cunha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes, Kauan Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birmingham Railers FC and the Matungo Gaúcho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kauan Vinhas hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Frank Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frank Abreu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Zé de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Arce in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Zé Pedro Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Abreu was shown his second yellow card after 11 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 11 played minutes Birmingham Railers FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Abreu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Salgado got free with Zé de Senna in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Vinhas in the 14th minute of play. Serginho da Mata received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but Serginho da Mata slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Cipriano Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário da Cunha in the 20th minute of play. Cipriano Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Vale in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho da Mata came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Kauan Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zé de Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho da Mata came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna got control of the ball when Serginho da Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Kléber Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Birmingham Railers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléber Salgado couldn't finish the play. Serginho da Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Zé de Senna made a huge save. The wind increased when Kauan Vinhas made the kick off in the second half. Zé de Senna came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Birmingham Railers FC's Kléber Salgado. But to his dismay, Kléber Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 56 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Vinhas came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho da Mata in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Karim Adeyemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé de Senna came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Birmingham Railers FC's Kauan Vinhas. But to his dismay, Kauan Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 64 minutes into the match, Serginho da Mata notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna. Zé de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the game, Kauan Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. In the 74th minute Kauan Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Birmingham Railers FC's Kléber Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 83 minutes into the match, Kauan Vinhas notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna. Zé de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cipriano Alvarenga was a little too slow when Dário da Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 8-1. After a rather tough play, Birmingham Railers FC's Vítor Ferraz got a free kick in the 90th minute. Matungo Gaúcho's Dário da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Salgado came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Birmingham Railers FC's Luiz Paulo Arce got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Birmingham Railers FC had played much better football throughout.
