Amílton Machado's late challenge caught a Inter de Munique's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Amílton Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Marinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matungo Gaúcho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Munique the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dário da Cunha in the 10th minute. A collision led to Matungo Gaúcho getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Breno Velloso hit a great ball. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Paranaense in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé de Senna saved Matungo Gaúcho from getting behind. Breno Velloso hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Marinho hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Paranaense in the 23rd minute of play forced Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Zé de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard de Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Amílton Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard de Azevedo went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 34 minutes, Edgard de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Munique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo de Lara hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Paranaense came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário da Cunha was the one to do the kick off. The tension between the Inter de Munique and the Matungo Gaúcho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafa Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Rafa Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé de Senna. Matungo Gaúcho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 65th play minute Rafa Paranaense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zé de Senna. 0-5. 69 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico de Sousa came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dário da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorginho Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Zé de Senna was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Edgard de Azevedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgard de Azevedo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 85th minute, Sandro Brodel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé de Senna. The goal made the score 0-7. Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico de Sousa in the 89th minute of play. Zé de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Edgard de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard de Azevedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard de Azevedo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Inter de Munique left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Matungo Gaúcho.
