Doni Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Breguete FC's Sílvio Luiz Mendonça suffered a sore thigh after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Breguete FC made a substitution. Eduardo Pereira replaced Sílvio Luiz Mendonça. If Nildo de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Vitinho Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
