In the 8th minute, Renascença A.C.'s Bernardinho Soares seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernardinho Soares the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Renascença A.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernardinho Soares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 8 minutes into the game, one of Renascença A.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to RØSANEGRA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Enio Carneiro hit a great ball. If Paulo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Costa in the 19th minute of play forced Renascença A.C.'s goalkeeper Fred Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renascença A.C.'s Fred Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Costa in the 26th minute of play. Fred Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Renascença A.C.'s Valdir Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Brasil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafa Terra took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Freire. Fred Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th match minute, RØSANEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Pernambucano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Brasil having to make a save. After a rather tough play, RØSANEGRA's Enio Carneiro got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Perivaldo de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Costa made a kick off. Fred Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 62nd minute Rafa Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Marquez during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Marquez hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Kauã Pernambucano, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Valdir Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Renascença A.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RØSANEGRA the free kick. In the 69th minute, Valdir Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Rafa Terra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fred Freire. Rafa Terra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After having played for 82 minutes, Valdir Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renascença A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Diego Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renascença A.C.'s Fred Freire proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Renascença A.C. from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Perivaldo de Lara notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Renascença A.C.'s Fred Freire. Fred Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fred Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo de Lara in the 94th minute of the match. When Duda Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RØSANEGRA's protests and gave Duda Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. Duda Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. RØSANEGRA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
