The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Freire showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Délio Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fred Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Antônio Ferreira got control of the ball when Luisão Bastos tried to sneak it across the goal line.
