Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Carlos Paranaense in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aloísio Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Zé Carlos Paranaense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espigão Steamrollers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Aloísio Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Paranaense in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Gomes made a kick off. Espigão Steamrollers's Adalberto Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gilmar Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Bull Magnus's protests and gave Gilmar Gerber a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Red Bull Magnus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Espigão Steamrollers:s goal. When Régis Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Bull Magnus's protests and gave Régis Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Red Bull Magnus got a freekick which was hit by Régis Maranhense. Zé Carlos Paranaense scored 0-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nelsinho Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Guimarães having to interfere. Adalberto Quadros's late challenge caught a Red Bull Magnus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. Adalberto Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Jailson Sergipano got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Paranaense in the 79th minute of play forced Red Bull Magnus's goalkeeper Aloísio Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
