In the 17th minute, Conrado França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kiko da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Rossi in the 25th minute of play. Vicente Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Soares's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The Karaboudjan fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Karaboudjan's Frank Soares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vicente Travassos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. If Geraldo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the game, Frank Soares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Travassos. Frank Soares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Rossi made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Nonatos United's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Soares came free, but Vicente Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Karaboudjan's Conrado França nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Travassos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 71 minutes into the game, Conrado França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Vicente Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Soares in the 78th minute of play forced Nonatos United's goalkeeper Vicente Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Karaboudjan's Frank Soares got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Frank Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nonatos United's Vicente Travassos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Karaboudjan's Frank Soares in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nonatos United's goalie prevented a goal. Conrado França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Travassos having to interfere. Karaboudjan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
