Túlio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ALTHENTIC F.C getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hélio Queirós hit a great ball. Arnaldo Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano de Carvalho having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, ALTHENTIC F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Márcio Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Túlio Cerezo. ALTHENTIC F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Wanderson Matorin fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OSASCO FC's protests and gave Wanderson Matorin a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in OSASCO FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Luciano de Carvalho, was totally fooled by ALTHENTIC F.C's Leopoldo Mineiro, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Túlio Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Peixoto in the 21st minute of the match. After 35 played minutes ALTHENTIC F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alex Furtado. 39 minutes into the match, ALTHENTIC F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Luz came free, but Túlio Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes OSASCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Freire. The long shot by Leopoldo Mineiro in the 41st minute really tested Luciano de Carvalho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Leopoldo Mineiro's late challenge caught a OSASCO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, ALTHENTIC F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Pedro de Sena made a kick off. In the 54th minute Arnaldo Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio Cruz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Luciano de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Túlio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hamílton Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the OSASCO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton Sanches couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, João Pedro de Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OSASCO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Cássio Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the OSASCO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Peixoto couldn't finish the play. Vágner de Castro's late challenge caught a OSASCO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vágner de Castro helped the player get up and apologised. Vágner de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Christian Prado put in a rough tackle. After 84 played minutes OSASCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Prado. João Pedro de Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Túlio Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Pedro de Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexsandro Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ALTHENTIC F.C's Túlio Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro de Sena in the 92nd minute of play. João Pedro de Sena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Túlio Cerezo came out and tried to block the shot, but João Pedro de Sena slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 95th minute. The OSASCO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing OSASCO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
