Cristiano das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 6th minute Edinho Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diguinho Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Glauco Velloso was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Luís Fabiano Sena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Fabiano Sena really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cristiano das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Simões in the 16th minute of play. If Teodoro Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho de Toledo in the 19th minute of the match. Cristiano das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Shark FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Eriberto Melo hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Pinheiros Capibaras FC got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Linhares. Teodoro Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cristiano das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Bezerra in the 33rd minute of play forced Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalkeeper Cristiano das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Teodoro Bezerra made the kick off in the second half. With 55 minutes on the clock, Sidney Damião commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Pinheiros Capibaras FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Serafim Urbano hit a great ball. Eriberto Melo made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Serafim Urbano. Cristiano das Neves was a little too slow when Teodoro Bezerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-2. Claudinho de Toledo made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Olavo Linhares. Sebastião Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Pinheiros Capibaras FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Couto. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalkeeper Cristiano das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's attentive Luís Fabiano Baptista managed to snatch the ball when Eriberto Melo made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Bezerra came free, but Cristiano das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano das Neves came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Shark FC - FSCMZ's Edinho Simões. But to his dismay, Edinho Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 98 minutes into the match, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalkeeper Cristiano das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho Simões. The Pinheiros Capibaras FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Shark FC - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
