Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teodoro Bezerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Ulysses Neto got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Sandy Ogrocki came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandy Ogrocki couldn't finish the play. Glauco Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Dorival Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Glauco Velloso. Shark FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 28 played minutes Shark FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Magno Linhares. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's William Luz got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Teodoro Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glauco Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Simão in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Fantini came free, but Glauco Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jhon Barcellos in the 42nd minute of the match. Jhon Barcellos struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Glauco Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra do Interior.

The wind increased when Serafim Simão made the kick off in the second half. Serafim Simão might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafim Simão ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jhon Barcellos came free, but Glauco Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedé Mazer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Dedé Mazer got a free kick in the 81st minute. Glauco Velloso was a little too slow when Dorival Almeida got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-3. Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Bezerra in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Palestra do Interior left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Shark FC - FSCMZ.
