The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Antunes in the 8th minute. Estevez Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Paes. Afonso Maciel took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego de Toledo. Diego de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Baiano came free, but Diego de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, October 04's Silas Brasil got a free kick in the 30th minute. Wiliam Cardozo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diego de Toledo. October 04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tião Amaral's late challenge caught a ITAFUT 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tião Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Amaral to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Robinho Magalhães shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego de Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Diego de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiliam Cardozo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the game, Estevez Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Diego de Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

ITAFUT 4EVER's Ronaldinho Costa was substituted for Pedro Paulo Munhoz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley Teles to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Estevez Palmeira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diego de Toledo. That made the score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estevez Palmeira got free with Diego de Toledo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Pedro Paulo Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ernesto Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Estevez Palmeira hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ITAFUT 4EVER walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
