With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedrinho Cardoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldão Trevisan went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute of the match, Faustão Meireles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gernando Domingues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pedrinho Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Loureiro in the 19th minute of play. Gilberto Godoi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Ronaldão Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldão Trevisan's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes of play, Cactos's Ronaldão Trevisan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho Cardoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. José Britto hit a great ball. Gilberto Godoi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. Jorge Passos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedrinho Cardoso. Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ricart Futebol Clube's Pedrinho Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Trevisan in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Filipe Sousa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gernando Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ricart Futebol Clube. Pedrinho Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Loureiro in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Geovanni Schmidt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedrinho Cardoso, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldão Trevisan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedrinho Cardoso. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. Geovanni Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Cactos booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Passos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedrinho Cardoso. Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 80 played minutes Cactos got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Schmidt. In the 85th minute Walmyr Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Cardoso made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Wágner Leal sent off a good shot on target. When Ronaldão Trevisan came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Cactos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Trevisan couldn't finish the play. Ricart Futebol Clube's Pedrinho Cardoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Ricart Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Cactos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
