The referee ignored Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s protests and gave Silvério Chaves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Verissimo KFCH F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Chaves to maneuver through the defense. In the 36thth minute of the game Romeu Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Eliézer Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Renato de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Renato de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Ivo Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilian Matorin made a kick off. Donato Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SRP-Laguna's zone, Wilian Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Barbosa came out of the goal and Wilian Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the game, Romeu Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SRP-Laguna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verissimo KFCH F.C. the free kick. Romeu Martins hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Roberto Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Matorin in the 60th minute of the match. SRP-Laguna's Roberto Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save SRP-Laguna from getting a goal against them. SRP-Laguna's Roberto Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Bezerra in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Ezequiel Matos took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Roberto Barbosa to make any attempt to save it. Verissimo KFCH F.C. played a much better game than SRP-Laguna and deserved their victory. The SRP-Laguna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
