After 20 minutes of play SRP-Laguna's Romeu Martins was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 20 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Martins. In the 23rd minute, Pedrinho Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Cardoso in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Breno Araújo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gugu Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubens Brasil in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Jacinto Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roberto Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Meirelles hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Pedrinho Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Cardoso came free, but Roberto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SRP-Laguna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ricart Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
